Ayurvedic Alchemy at Lau Lima Farm

January 27th – February 4th

Come heal with us for a week in Maui!  Cleanse and rejuvenate with ayurveda and yoga in a tropical herbal sanctuary and permaculture farm.

Join guides Ann Averbach, Magnolia Rasak and Sebastian Hansen for a week of realigning and soul nourishment.

Cleanse and rejuvenate with ayurveda and yoga at a tropical herbal sanctuary and permaculture farm in Maui. This retreat is an opportunity to release and cleanse on a deep level.
Every person will receive herbal remedies, bodywork and cleansing protocols matched to their particular ayurvedic condition being addressed.
Find out what your ayurvedic body type (dosha) is and how to adapt your diet and lifestyle in order to live in greater harmony.
Learn balancing forms of yoga specific for your condition. This includes forms of asana, mantra, meditation and pranayama to balance the mind, chakras, organs, doshas and bring one to a peaceful sattvic (pure) state.
Practice ayurvedic self care techniques and bring these herbal remedies home with you beyond the retreat.
Learn about sustainable living and permaculture as you enjoy organic food, grown in rich volcanic soils from the onsite farm.
We will hike through the bamboo forest to the Seven Sacred Pools, visit private beaches, hike to Maui’s tallest waterfall, practice Thai massage, learn about local Hawaiian permaculture, and study with a local master herbalist.

If interested to attend, please send us your birth date, time and location. We will use your astrological chart to assess what chakras, herbs and organ systems to work with. We will also ask you to fill out a dosha questionaire ahead of time. These two diagnostic tools are a good beginning to assess your Ayurvedic body type.

Retreat Guides

Ann Averbach is deeply committed to helping others transform their lives through yoga. Founder of DiviniTree Yoga Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara, Ann’s mission is to help build conscious community. Her classes are uplifting, creative, inspiring, and full of wisdom. She lives and breathes yoga and community, and is committed to helping yogis on the path of awakening to live more authentic lives that are in harmony with the earth.

Ann has spent over 15 years committed to learning and teaching yoga in its many diverse forms all around the world. From the Himalayas to the Amazon and from Fiji to Kenya, Ann has been harvesting seeds of wisdom and weaving together a tapestry of transformational tools into her life and teachings. Known for her deeply spiritual and yet highly athletic classes.

Gypsy Yoga Flow is meant to bring practitioners to an edge and is based on the belief that when we push ourselves out of our comfort zones and walk the edge we truly live. Fusing vinyasa with the freedom and femininity of dance, the awareness of subtle energy work, weaving in positive affirmation and awareness of our internal dialogue, Gypsy Yoga flow is known for its intense strength building, strongly intention based nature, and deeply intuitive, liberating, circular movements.

She brings a deep reverence for the earth into her offerings and helps build conscious community around the planet. Ann leads transformational yoga journeys, workshops, and teacher trainings around the world.

Magnolia Rasak discovered yoga at the age of 16, and it was love at first class! Magnolia began teaching in 2002, and has traveled the world studying various styles of yoga including Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Tantra, and Prenatal. Her studies have guided her throughout India, Thailand, Mexico, Bali, and the U.S. She is drawn to the practice yoga not only for the asana (physical) benefits, but for the greater way of life that yoga encompasses. Non-violence, compassion, awareness, mindfulness, acceptance, and connection to all Beings. As a yoga instructor, Magnolia utilizes the physical as a means for deeper exploration into the subtle energies at play in our lives.

Magnolia aims to guide her students towards a state of physical strength, inner harmony, and self transformation through the practice of yoga. She encourages her students to cultivate a deeper awareness of their physical body, while simultaneously expanding the awareness between mind, body and spirit.

She calls her yoga classes Anahata Flow. Anahata translates to unhurt, unstruck, or unbeaten in Sanskrit. Anahata relates to the heart, and invites us into a state of balance, harmony and peace. Anahata Flow is deep and intentional vinyasa based practice that invites students to slow down, tune in, and connect to the present moment through mindful practice. Magnolia’s classes offer a balance of effort and ease, action and surrender. Her teachings are a practice of breath, asana, and moving meditation, that start and return to the space of the heart. “There is enough rush in the world, come to the mat to move and breathe with mindful awareness, and be moved into the space of the heart.” Magnolia
